Apparently, in Vermont, women must obtain written permission from their husbands to wear false teeth.
Now, how they enforce this is beyond us. . . .
And while we are on the subject of strange laws  in Vermont, at one time it was also illegal to tie a giraffe to a telephone pole — all of which conjures up very strange images of life in Vermont.  It can only be surmised that, since it is evidently no longer against the law to tie giraffes to telephone poles, they must have their giraffe problem under control.
